The Anatomy of Sin

Sin is like a computer virus.
When it gets into a computer(man's life) it appears to do no harm at first, your computer might still run smoothly as if nothing is wrong with it. The problem is soon, it begins to duplicate (more sin) and increase. The more it grows the more damage it causes to the computer and the more difficult it becomes to remove.
Soon the computer starts getting slow and frustrating (prayer life and church gets boring) . After sometime the virus finally ends up destroying the computer and makes it totally useless(sin takes the believer back into the world). Which was the goal of the first single virus(sin) that entered the computer in the first place.
The same way most computer users today waste time to remove that first virus from their computer immediately through asking God for Forgiveness, regular antiviral scanning (studying God's Word and praying) of their computer and updating of their anti virus (The HolyGhost) until the computer is almost destroyed. Some believe there is even no need to ask for Forgiveness, how is that working for you Mr Pharisee.
That is the same way most Christians today leave their lives open to a single sin attack of the devil and don't fix it immediately until it grows and most times destroys their faith.
When scanning a computer for virus and a virus is detected, the anti virus gives you some options to fix the issue based on the level of damage the virus has caused e.g clean, remove or quarantined until a solution is found and the file is restored.
Same way in order to recover some things the devil had stolen from you, you will need to separate yourself through consecration(quarantine yourself) until God restores that which was stolen (destiny, peace, joy, promise).
But take note
Remain consecrated to God lest a worse thing comes upon you.
God isn't forgiving you so that you can keep on sinning, NO!!! He wants your heart. Focus on God today and sin would be so distant from you, that is what God's presence does, sends darkness away.
If you haven't given your life to Jesus, it means that you don't even have anti virus installed on your computer (The Holy Ghost in your life) at all. It means virus is a normal thing with you. You can't even disinfect your life. If you live your open like this, death in Hell is a certainty.
It is one thing to be with God and fighting by faith to remain in the faith, and it's another thing not to even have Him at all.
Don't live another day without God's Spirit in you, Welcome Jesus into your life right now let Him install the anti virus you need in your life to spend eternity in heaven and to succeed here on earth.
Say this prayer
Lord Jesus I need you in my life, I'm tired of doing things my own way and living with the fear of my life being destroyed. I have sinned against you, please forgive me and come into my heart and make me a new man. Thank you Jesus Amen.
Congratulations now you have the anti virus of God in your heart
Please don't just say this prayer without telling anybody that is spiritual and can help you grow else the devil will come to take you back to your old ways.
Get connected to a good Bible believing church, because that's where your anti virus gets updated.
God bless you.

Re: New Creation Realities. What Do I Do?

The theme, New Creation Realities , is one of the more popular preaching themes in recent times. Usually, teachers of this theme fall into two categories: One: those who promote our new reality in Christ in such a way that it appears that Sin and Backsliding are no longer things to worry about in this era of Grace. The other: those who, in a bid to counter or correct the perceived errors of the first group, promote the reality and consequences of Sin and Backsliding so much that Grace is only given lip service. There is - or ought to be - a third category. This category, which I consider most important and most relevant for us believers, focus the light on what we ought to do. The first category focuses on what God has done and suggests - intentionally or not - that we have nothing else to do. The second category tries too hard to correct the first, thereby making it look like what Christ did nothing. In the past few years of contact with Christians, I'm willing to bet tha...

How to Land a Good Job Without Experience

Three times every year, tens of thousands of our young people are flushed into the labour market. Majority hope and pray to get a job. However, the supply or manpower is much higher than the demand; as a result, many employers raise the bar unnecessarily high to limit the size of the pool. One common one is Years of Experience. Another one is Age. Only very few firms have a genuine provision for fresh graduates today. We’ll look at Scripture – the story of David – for useful tips on how to land a good job with zero years of experience. Job Vacancy So there was this vacancy in a company called “The Army of Israel.” The job role is simple: kill Goliath. The remuneration: you’ll marry the king’s daughter and everyone in your family will never have to pay tax. (Sounds to me like a very good retirement package). David the Shepherd Boy Once upon a time, there was war in Israel. David’s elder brothers were part of Israel’s army. One day, David, at the instruction of his dad, went...

How (Not) To Discover Your Purpose In Life

“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” - Ecclesiastes 1:9 When you’ve been around as long as I have, you can look back over your life and note the events that changed your perspective and influenced how things turned out for you. They’re called turning points. They’re few and far between, and with good reason. Too many and your life would be one big chaotic mess. Of maybe five or six major turning points that truly influenced the outcome for me, one stands apart. And I’m going to share it with you because it just might make a real difference for you, as it did for me. I’m not exactly a bible scholar, but I do have a thing for the simple poetic wisdom of the Book of Ecclesiastes. I actually have my own versions of some of its key messages that I recite from time to time, including this one: The longer you live and the wiser you become, the more you’ll realize how littl...
